It is Saturday, March 16, 2024. James Madison was born 273 years ago today. No one knows the contribution a new life brings to the world, but it’s possible that we all come with a mission to fulfill.
As the result of James Madison’s life, he’s come to be identified as the Father of the Constitution. His efforts were instrumental in the preparation and recording of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served as Delegate from Virginia under the Articles of Confederation, a House Representative from Virginia under the Constitution, Secretary of State to President Thomas Jefferson and then as Fourth President of the United States. He was small in stature – 5’ 4” tall and under a hundred pounds – but large in his influence throughout his 85 years of life. |

While Madison is not with us today, his experience should be, as it addresses how We the People of the United States, have in our Constitution, the Power and the ability to rectify the maladies of America that rival those our Founders faced in the dawning days of the nation. If President Madison has the answer, then what is the question? |

Legislative Alert To Save the Pre-Born |
In a state with a super-majority Republican presence, a small group of Liberty minded Missouri senators are fighting an uphill battle to preserve the lives of the unborn. Why does this have to be such a struggle?

Like many state constitutions, the People have the ability to propose amendments but unlike our federal constitution, these state constitutions allow for amendment ratification by a simple majority vote. This is how abortion was enshrined in Ohio last November even though, like Missouri, the People have the representation of a veto proof Republican legislature.
How does that happen?
It happens because of the tyranny of the majority, which allows the larger population areas to overrule a more widespread and diverse demographic throughout the state.

SJR-61 is a proposal in the Missouri Senate to implement CMR to the Missouri Constitution. It proposes that for any amendment to the Constitution to be ratified, it must have both a majority of the popular vote and a majority of Missouri House Districts.

Please allow me to extend our deepest gratitude for your support over the years, and our Best Wishes, in and out of the Constitution Party, to our supporters, friends of Liberty and patriots throughout Missouri and America, and for a blessed Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s holiday season, recognizing also our Thanksgiving commemoration, just recently passed.
Notwithstanding, these annual celebrations have become heavily commercialized over the past many decades, it is still a time of year when many remember and are caused to ponder on the advent, teachings, life and ultimate sacrifice of the Savior of the World. In a few short months, we will remember that Jesus Christ alone, had and still has the power to defeat death and hell and that He beckons us to follow Him, ultimately to where, “...My kingdom is not of this world!” -John 18:36
We should remember also that the Providence of God attended the birth of this nation.
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” -The Declaration of Independence
Our Founding Fathers so recognized it again when, the Congress of the United States voted unanimously to request President George Washington to issue his Thanksgiving Proclamation.
It is with somber reflection we must also acknowledge that only with His Providence might our nation live on. I bend the knees in this season, with you, in supplication for your well being and for the triumph of liberty as we look forward to the coming year, for if, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,” (2 Corinthians 3:17), then the corollary must be, where there is Liberty, the Spirit of the Lord must be present. Therefore, let us continue to

Joe Miller has experienced voter fraud firsthand.
He won the GOP primary for U.S. Senate from Alaska in 2010 against Lisa Murkowski. She then ran a write in campaign with massive fraud and won in the general. Just like in 2020, the courts refused to consider the overwhelming evidence of fraud.
In 2016, Joe was asked to run on the Libertarian Party ticket, which he did, getting 30% of the vote, which was a remarkable accomplishment. He is an attorney with most of his practice in Alaska but is involved in various federal appeals on First and Fourth Amendment issues in conjunction with other public legal foundations.

Dear Friend of Liberty…
Today is not just another day! In the United States, this is our day of Memorial and we remember those who have given their lives in the service of our nation –having done so willingly and dutifully. It is fitting to remember those who have shed their blood – including those who have done so and yet lived, who have left behind parts of their bodies or their psyches on the battlefield and yet need now to be served and remembered. To those who have worn the uniform bearing the American flag – Thank you!
We thank you unequivocally, whether or not those who sent you were right or wrong – we are yet, in your debt. We thank your families and lament with them over their loss and sacrifice. which is ours as well.
Now, we can’t but ask, what have we learned from our experience with war that is relevant to us – right now? There is a popular quote that goes something like this,
“The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.”
This quote, attributed to German philosopher, Georg Hagel, is clearer and more accurate from his own words:
»Was die Erfahrung aber und dieGeschichte lehren, ist dieses, daß Völker und Regierungen niemals etwas aus derGeschichte gelernt und nach Lehren, die aus derselben zu ziehen gewesen wären, gehandelt haben.«
...or translated rather:
“What experience and history teach is this — that nations and governments have never learned anything from history, or acted upon any lessons they might have drawn from it.”
It’s really a beautiful day in Western Missouri right now. The sun bathes our community in warmth and light. The multitudinous chorus of the feathered tribe is pleasant to the ear, and there is a general calm here masking a stark reality that there is a war going on right here and now in America.
For most of us, what we haven’t learned from history is what’s been hidden from us, that those who profit from war often fund both sides, that those who profit from bloodshed have an insatiable appetite for wealth and power and that a disarmed people, like the Jews in Nazi Germany, Armenians of Turkey and the Chinese during the rise of communism in China and more – are defenseless from tyranny. |
While the United States has about 750 military bases in 80 countries around the world populated by nearly 170,000 service members; we also have an undefended southern border.
In 1999, two Chinese Colonels wrote a book, called Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America, and it appears that that warfare is working according to plan.
So, where is this conversation going? As our government has deployed our sons and daughters, fathers, brothers, sisters and mothers all over the world supporting “democracy(?)” …it looks like We the People, you and I, will need to be the veterans of the war to reclaim the Republic, right here in the homeland. Hence, “We are all enlisted!”
There needs to be a restoration of Liberty, a cleansing of the inner vessel so to speak, and the powers that be are obviously not going to deploy the military, the resources nor the funding necessary to restore Liberty in America. It’s up to We the People and the time is NOW or NEVER!
Here’s the invitation… come forward and raise the Title of Liberty! Stand up for the Constitution which is being attacked on every front. It is yet the one thing that stands in the way of complete tyranny in America and the enemies of Liberty know this are united against it. Therefore, you and I must unite on the Constitution. You cannot delegate your individual role in the cause of Liberty, for whether it is great or small, it is needed now. It may be an honor for some of us to shed our blood – or the lamentation for all of us to bow in the certain subjugation that follows our current trajectory.
As we thank our veterans of the past, maybe our veterans of today will thank us when we can return them home to a Republic Reclaimed!

...is and home of the Gateway Arch which, by the way, is prohibited to Presidents of the United States (for security reasons) but is available to you during your visit here this weekend.
Indeed, the arch marks that St. Louis was once considered – the Gateway to the West – Portal to a New Frontier, to the vast lands of the American continent some short centuries ago, which was largely uncharted and unknown to its most recent inhabitants, and which now contain as one of our nation’s founders foresaw, “...some three hundred millions of people.”
Again, we find ourselves on the frontier – as treacherous and filled with hazards as our forebears experienced at the dawn of the Republic. See, we have a constitutional crisis in America – and for two reasons:
Here’s the first one – YOU don’t know the Constitution!
And…
Here’s the second one – THEY don’t know the Constitution!
...and who are THEY? Our elected and appointed public servants. And why are they constitutionally illiterate? BECAUSE WE PUT THEM THERE – in that condition!
So why are we here today? It was Henry David Thoreau who so succinctly expressed,
“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root”
We have returned to this frontier monument to learn how to strike at the root! To learn how to use the Constitution to ADVANCE the Cause of Liberty! This is NOT a conservative position; it means that we take back territory of freedoms that have been lost and keep marching forward. The Kansas City Chiefs did not win by being conservative. They kept advancing, didn’t they? You make very few points on defense!
But, We the People are on defense!
How dare we imagine that parents must be the primary influence in the lives of our children?!
How dare we suppose that we have the right of self-protection?
How dare we resist the idea that our every thought, word and action be monitored and recorded?!
How dare we think for one minute that our property belongs to us?!
...that we don’t need to eat bugs?
...that we should tolerate an invasion?
...or that we should just accept inflation as anything other than theft by government?
WHO do we THINK we ARE?
Maybe, just maybe, WE DARE TO BE AMERICAN!
We dare to imagine, act on and benefit from all those things we dare to do AND MORE!
We dare to be problem solvers and creators, explorers, and builders,
We dare to believe that the days may return when there was more Liberty than tyranny, when we felt safer on September 10, 2001 than we’ve ever been since September 11, 2001.
But we have a problem and it’s big. Do you know what’s the most profitable enterprise on earth?
Anyone? Here’s some background…
Adam and Eve were given two commandments we will make note of.
One while the were still in the garden of Eden…
“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.”
Some time later, after they’d been evicted from the garden where all of their needs had been provided for them and life was easy, they received another commandment,
“By the sweat of thy face shalt though eat they bread”
We’re expected to increase, to produce, to work, and in so doing we benefit ourselves and one another.
But Cain, learned something differently, didn’t he? He learned that he could get power and gain by the SHEDDING OF BLOOD.
So do you think the abortion era survivors who are demanding a right that doesn’t exist in a document they’ve never read, are our enemies? Only because they are being used.
Do you think Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA mercenaries are our enemies?
Only because they are being used.
There are those who are willing to use their wealth and power to take America down and to dominate the world and their primary tool is to spend their vast wealth to promote death, destruction and BLOODSHED – and – you know who they are.
“You can buy anything in the world with money!
They could truly use these vast sums to change the world for the better and bring relief to millions at home and abroad. Imagine how many lives could be elevated if the mindset of these financial titans considered a world where there might be “no poor among us!”
But alas, this is the lot we’ve been given, isn’t it?
Right here in St. Louis, the Washington University at St. Louis Hospital spends millions in PAC money for what? To lower our medical costs? …to promote lifesaving health practices?
So, instead, these vast sums of PAC money are just the cost of doing business to benefit from the maximum profitability of child butchery.
Right here in St. Louis, our own Soros backed prosecutor is now embroiled in a fight with the State Attorney General to avoid being removed from office. But he is going about it the hard way. The New York Post reports there are seventy-five of these prosecutors scattred around the nation.
How do you address this calamity in which prosecutors around the Republic are reducing their communities into lawless wastelands where Liberty is razed to the ground?
There is one thing - that’s holding all this back. Do you know what it is? It’s the Constitution! The enemies of Liberty know that once they break THIS border wall, their path is clear, and it was the renowned economist Walter Washington who said, “If liberty dies in America, it is destined to die everywhere!”
The enemies of Liberty want to divide Americans. In fact, they MUST in order to usher in their diabolical dystopian vision. And we have multiple reasons we can imagine to be divided – because we’re all different in one way or another…
- some are black
- some are white
- some are from the North
- some are from the South
- some are Boomers
- some are Millennials
- some look to God
- some do not
Those who would subvert our Liberty are looking to benefit from these divisions. So…
- Are you a Democrat or are you an American?
- Are you a Republican or are you an American?
This much is clear, the current political apparatus is not designed to address the needs of We the People – it has not, cannot – and subsequently as we can see – WILL NOT do so.
I don’t know how much time we have left. But I do know that I will not be idle, nor will I be silent. How about you?
Our invitation is that we as Americans dare to be united. As expressed on the flag of the State of Missouri, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”
My fellow Americans…
Our path is also clear. You didn’t sacrifice your time and treasure to come from East, South, West and North just to talk about and lament over the problems of our troubled times. We came here to fix them!
We need to know and use the Constitution to save the Constitution and it gives us a simple and consistent way to address these issues and you will leave this event, armed with that knowledge!
ISN’T THIS A GREAT TIME TO BE ALIVE!
Rejoice and REJOICE! Because God thought enough of you and me to bring us together in this day and time, “...for such a time as this!”
Then, do we dare NOW, to stand when others are cowering…
Do we dare to lead when many are searching for answers…
Do we dare to be independent and free of political institutions that have, still do, and will continue to fail us…
Do we dare, to call on our fellow Americans – to unite on the Constitution, our Title of Liberty?

My name is Paul Venable, I am Chairman of the Constitution Party of Missouri and I am writing regarding HB1165. I feel it an urgent matter to alert you and our fellow Missouri Citizens that this legislation is dangerous to the Liberty of a Free People. As a result of the, Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets signed by Joe Biden on March 9, 2022, the groundwork is being laid for the introduction of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). It appears, that the follow up is to implement its passage through state legislatures.
What is the CBDC and what will it do?
The effects of a Central Bank Digital Currency will be staggering! The Cato institute has published and easy to understand explanation of the dangers of CBDC, which:
- Could spell doom for what little financial privacy protections remain for the People;
- Can make it easier for governments to freeze your financial resources;
- Could implement programmable spending - the state determines or controls by policy what you can buy;
- Could undermine banking and cryptocurrency as we know it.
…and much more! In fact, there are no merits upon which this proposed legislation can be debated because it violates a point of order.
If HB1165 has, in any of its language, a proposal to make a digital, virtual, or electronic currency a government endorsed currency; a tender for payment of debts or anything of the kind, or makes the opportunity for such even possible, you must know that such a measure is strictly prohibited.
Is the Constitution of the United States still the Supreme Law of the Land? See Article VI of said document:
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
Yes, it is. This clause has not been repealed.
Does this clause from Article I, Section 10 still apply?
“No State shall… make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”
Yes, it does. This clause has not been repealed.
On 4 January, 2023, I attended the swearing in of the members of the Missouri House, because I wanted to witness this event for myself. I am therefore impelled to ask, “By what authority are you supporting a bill that defies the Constitution of the United States of America and in effect, the Missouri Constitution under which the Supreme Law of the Land operates?”
Dear members of the Committee. I plead with you not to allow this bill to pass out of committee. If you cast your vote in support of a proposal which openly defies the United State Constitution, might this not have the effect of exposing you to the consequences of Article III, Section 15 of the Missouri Constitution?
“Section 15. Oath of office of members of assembly—administration—effect of refusal to take oath and conviction of violation.—Every senator or representative elect, before entering upon the duties of his office, shall take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation: “I do solemnly swear, or affirm, that I will support the Constitution of the United States and of the state of Missouri, and faithfully perform the duties of my office, and that I will not knowingly receive, directly or indirectly, any money or other valuable thing for the performance or nonperformance of any act or duty pertaining to my office, other than the compensation allowed by law.” The oath shall be administered in the halls of the respective houses to the members thereof, by a judge of the supreme court or a circuit court, or after the organization by the presiding officer of either house, and shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state. Any senator or representative refusing to take said oath or affirmation shall be deemed to have vacated his office, and any member convicted of having violated his oath or affirmation shall be deemed guilty of perjury, and be forever disqualified from holding any office of trust or profit in this state.”
The constitutional position is to reject this proposal outright. I might add that, with dispatch, the Legislature of the State of Missouri also alert its sister states to this danger.
It appears from these provisions that any public servant in Missouri, whether elected or appointed, who takes actions in violation of the oath taken to support the Missouri Constitution and/or the United States Constitution, can be found guilty of perjury and held accountable for such actions. Please inform me if I am mistaken!
We are truly living in times that rival those which faced our forebears at the dawn of the Republic. Let us face this challenge head on with the legacy they gave us, the Power of the Constitution of the United States of America!

Why do we need candidates for office? Because the leadership to support and defend the Constitution, apparently needs to come from the People… from you and I. We invite you to be a candidate, and participate in our vetting process, particularly for a seat in the state legislature, because it is within the power of the states to reign in the federal government. Here's something you might find interesting. During the 2020 General Election, 81 seats in the Missouri State Legislature went uncontested. In the House that means 48 Republicans and 29 Democrats ran without opposition and in the Senate, it was 1 Democrat and 3 Republicans. The featured image shows this for the situation in the Missouri House. In addition, there are currently seven Missouri House seats which are vacant, and these citizens are without representation. Those are Districts 34, 61, 65, 108, 114 and 147. Are you in one of these districts? Normally the Governor calls for a special election for vacant seats, but maybe that won’t happen in an election year. In the meantime, let’s get ready to ADVANCE the Cause of Liberty! |

May I conclude with these words from James Madison, widely regarded as the Father of the Constitution:
Advance the Cause of Liberty!
The Missouri Legislature convened today for the beginning of its 2022 Session. This is no small thing to consider. Our community of six million people who make up this sovereign state have and can choose our own solutions to the unique needs of our circumstances. Sovereign, you say? Well, of course! A little bit of history is in order.
At the end of the War for Independence, the British Crown recognized with the signing of The Treaty of Paris that each of its former colonies were to be recognized as,
“…to be free sovereign and Independent States.”

This language from The Declaration of Independence gives additional context,
“We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

The important concept that has been lost with the passage of almost 25 decades is that Missouri, like our sister states, is actually a nation-state on the same class as England, France or Germany. While this was more obvious under the Articles of Confederation, the adoption of the Constitution for these United States did not dispose of that sovereignty. The thirteen original colonies made a compact, a contract agreement between them, to delegate to a federal entity, limited and enumerated powers for the benefit of the whole federation.
What was incorporated in the enumerated federal government was the equal footing doctrine which meant that every new state admitted to this union would be equal with all of the other states as if each had been one of the original thirteen.
Why is this important to us? Because we are witnessing tyranny perpetuated by the myth of federal supremacy. Our nation-state of Missouri, along with the other nation-states of these united States are equal stakeholders in the compact that created the federal government, and the States have the power to arrest its abuses and bring it under control.

Through the ratification process, the legislatures of the thirteen original colonies met together, defined terms and set forth the arguments and agreements that are the basis for the Constitution, which is the instruction manual for our national government and the execution of the contract.
Why is this important to us? Because the Missouri legislature began this year’s session today, it is this venue in which a People with Power are able to have the influence to restore liberty to America.
If you were a legislator, a Missouri House member or Missouri Senator, what you do? What legislation would you offer, support, oppose or eliminate?
- Would you remove the sales tax on food/clothing?
- How would you define and protect voting rights?
- Would you audit the federal government?
- Would you keep your oath of office?
This last question, would you keep your oath of office to support and defend the United States and the Missouri Constitutions, is the most relevant. The failure of doing this by many public servants today, is why our liberty – as we speak – is in such a precarious situation.
Dear Friend of Liberty, the people of Missouri need legislators who will each, keep his or her oath of office – their contract – to represent you and I constitutionally. This may be you. Will you be a candidate for office? And if not you, who would you trust that would be willing to swim upstream against the tide of coercion, oppression, and autocracy to ADVANCE the Cause of Liberty?

The year is 1918, and on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, fighting came to a close on what came to be known as, "The War to End All Wars." There had been nothing like it in the history of the world and the hope was that such a conflict would never again be repeated. A year later the occasion was commemorated on 11 November, 1919 by a proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson as the first Armistice Day.
The Congress officially recognized the end of the World War I on 4 June 1926 and in 1938, an act of Congress justified a change:
“Armistice Day was primarily a day set aside to honor veterans of World War I, but in 1954, after World War II had required the greatest mobilization of soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen in the Nation’s history; after American forces had fought aggression in Korea, the 83rd Congress, at the urging of the veterans service organizations, amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word "Armistice" and inserting in its place the word "Veterans." With the approval of this legislation (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954, November 11th became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.”

While Memorial Day commemorates American servicemen and women who have lost their lives in the service of their country, Veterans Day commemorates all members of our Armed Forces and their service.
To those of you who have served, why did you become what we recognize today as a veteran? You had your reasons, and you must have understood the cost, because in one way or another you have certainly paid it. In many cases, you may have sacrificed time from your families, brothers and sisters in arms on the battlefield, as well as blood and body to the cause. For you recognize that sometimes, blood is the currency of Liberty and always the cost of tyranny.
Maybe we can relate to this counsel from early presidents of the Republic, who spoke from painful experience…

To those who took the oath to support and defend the Constitution, we of the Constitution Party, especially, Thank you! We value your sacrifice, knowledge, patriotism, and continued commitment. You may no longer be subject to the UCMJ or the orders of the President and officers, but we recognize also that said oath to “…support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic…” has no expiration date… does it?

How can we suppose that a ragtag, rarely paid, untrained army of tradesman and laborers and ministers and farmers defeated the most powerful military force on the planet at the time of the War for Independence? The providence of God attended the birth of this nation and only with His providence will it survive. Maybe, just maybe… we can shed our personal and national pride and sins and plead for deliverance. And while we're at it, maybe, can we show that we mean it. Get to know those around us; love your neighbor, visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, liberate the captive, feed the hungry, etc.?

Take a moment, also, to watch and share this brief introduction to the power that we have in our States. The states are stakeholders in a contract, the compact that created the Constitution. They are the final arbiters of that compact and when the rights of their respective Citizens are being violated by the general government, it is the duty of the states to interpose. The legal basis for its enforcement was clearly defined during the Ratification Debates, but they have been largely unknown. Here is a link to a video for an overview of what this means:

The Fireworks Were Fun – Now What?
Dear Friends of Liberty…
Another Independence Day has come and gone, the fireworks have lit up the sky, sounded aloud and are now silent, the flags have been folded and put away; the swelling of patriotic celebration and fervor had its time – and as happens after every other holiday – we return to the necessities of life – back to normal, right?
After the original Independence Day, July 4, 1776, normal was not what we enjoy or experience today, but was a painful, bloody encounter with a fate that would, over time, effect the rest of the world and no mortal yet knew how much or how deeply.

From our platform: We oppose any attempt to call for a Constitutional convention, for any purpose whatsoever, because it cannot be limited to any single issue, and such convention could seriously erode our Constitutionally protected unalienable rights.
The following update is a legislative alert from our friends at the John Birch Society.
We would like to update you on the outcome of an important resolution in the Missouri General Assembly.
Unfortunately, on May 13, the General Assembly approved Con-Con resolution SCR 4. It follows the wording of Mark Meckler’s Convention of States Project, or COS Project, application, urging Congress to call a convention to propose amendments “that impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office for its officials and members of Congress.” In 2017, the General Assembly passed an identical resolution, but with a five-year expiration clause. SCR 4 removes that sunset clause. As a small silver lining, the resolution’s passage does not increase the total number of states with COS applications.
Gov. Mike Parson announced Tuesday that Missouri will stop participating in all six federal pandemic-related unemployment programs effective June 12 to “address workforce shortages across the state.”
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — It’s down to the wire for a pair of election reform bills in the Missouri Capitol.
HB 334 and HB 738 would revise Missouri’s election policies. The first bill, from Rep. John Simmons, requires photo IDs for those voting in-person absentee, while voters without IDs would fill out provisional ballots to be counted if certified. HB 738 would alter a myriad of election policies, including requiring the use of paper ballots, allowing no-excuse absentee voting, and prohibiting the use of mail-in ballots.
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri House perfected a bill that would allow home-schooled students to participate in public school activities — with hefty penalties for institutions that violate it.
HB 494 from Rep. Josh Hurlbert would restrict foundation formula funding for schools associated with statewide groups that prohibit homeschoolers from participating in their activities. An amendment attached by Hurlbert would also require students to attend two or more classes related to the activity — such as band, drama, or weightlifting classes — in order to participate. The bill was perfected Tuesday morning.
