Dear Friends of Liberty,
My name is Paul Venable and I was recently elected chairman of The Constitution Party of Missouri.
There has never been a greater need for the message of the Constitution Party than now – RIGHT NOW!. The well-being of our Republic is challenged in so many directions that it is difficult to keep track. It seems that which Thomas Jefferson penned in the Declaration of Independence as colonial grievances appear uncomfortably much like current affairs.
This becomes a greater challenge when time and finances are limited, doesn’t it? Many of us have fought this good fight and are exhausted. There are many who would like to do more and may not know what or how. Then there are others of us, who are disengaged because the system just doesn’t seem to work. I am convinced that we can tackle this challenge. “Many hands make light work,” and if all of us do a little bit, then a few of us don’t have to do it all. I am reaching out to you that we may Advance the cause of Liberty in whatever large or small way that we can, because we need to pave the way for the coming generations to survive, and to follow. Economist Walter Williams stated our current condition rather clearly, “If liberty dies in the United States, it is destined to die everywhere.”
So what does it mean to Advance the cause of Liberty? Well, it means going on offense – not just being on constant defense against the globalist-statist agenda, but challenging that agenda with the proven solutions of liberty. The principles of Liberty have worked in the past and will work again if we use them. The People of this land have Power through the Constitution for the united States and the Declaration of Independence but only if we know them and apply them.
Finally, please understand that we are not alone. If we have any reverence for the documents on which our nation’s founding is based, then we also understand that the purveyors of those principles therein, looked to the source of our inherent rights for their strength:
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”
I invite you, my fellow members of The Constitution Party of Missouri, that we stand together, and with the aid of Divine Providence, Advance the cause of Liberty.
Best Regards,
Paul Venable - Chairman
